Russian-Indonesian online business forum "Digital Economy and Investment Opportunities in Tourism” organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Embassy of Indonesia in Russia was held on March 16. More than 100 companies and organizations took part in the event.

At the opening of the business forum, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Vladimir Ilichyov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Indonesia Lyudmila Vorobieva, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus Jose Tavares addressed the participants with their welcoming remarks.

During the first session of the forum, Trade Representative of Russia in Indonesia Sergei Rossomakhov made a report on the prospects for cooperation between Russia and Indonesia in the field of information technology.

The event was also attended by Russian companies (BI.ZONE, Axxonsoft, SearchInform, Taxi Maxim and Spirit Corporation), which made the detailed presentations of their high-tech solutions that are in line with the implementation of the Roadmap for Indonesia Digital 2021-2024.
