On April, 1 a video conference "Prospects for Russian-Indonesian cooperation in the development of the electric power infrastructure of Indonesia" was held with the participation of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, PJSC RusHydro, JSC Institute Hydroproject, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia, state energy company PT. PLN (Persero), as well as the Association of Electricity Enterprises of Indonesia.
As a follow-up of the conference, Trade Representative Sergei Rossomakhov spoke with Triharyo Susilo, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia in Jakarta, where the sides has agreed to continue the bilateral consultations in a view of modernization the existing large-scale hydroelectric power plants (HPPs), supply of Russian power producing equipment, tidal power plants, as well as investment in mini-HPPs.
